CONVENT OF THE BRIGIDAS
In baroque style, it was founded by D. Miguel de Oquendo and Dña. Teresa de San Millán, a couple who wanted to build a sanctuary to house a 7 cm tall image of Our Lady of Consolation brought from Brazil in 1683. In 1964, the convent was declared an Artistic Monument. Regarding its architecture, the central body of the church or chapel dominates, featuring a façade with a triangular pediment and a gabled roof, to which two lower symmetrical bodies, also with gabled roofs but with a longitudinal ridge, are slightly adjoined on the sides.
