The church of San Ignacio de Loyola is a parish church of Catholic worship and neo-Gothic style located in the Gros neighbourhood of the city of San Sebastián, in Guipúzcoa, Basque Country, España.Su floor plan of three longitudinal naves, of five sections each, does not follow the classical scheme in the form of a Latin cross, as it lacks the transverse nave; in the rear section of the main nave, where the transept should have been, Goicoa arranged the main vault, made of ribbed with tercelets; The vaults of the rest of the sections are made of simple ribbing. The apse, which is oriented to the north, adapting to the urban layout of the Gross district, has a heptagonal apse, but not an ambulatory. The high choir at the foot occupies the first section of the main nave. Inside, rich in materials and furniture, the following are noteworthy: the collection of paintings, of variegated polychromy, on the panels of the Main Chapel, with scenes from the life of Saint Ignatius; an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the work of Mariano Benlliure, and the neo-Renaissance tomb of the Duke of Mandas himself, as well as other neo-Gothic tombs in the presbytery and nave. The stained glass windows are the work of Maumejean.
