Font de Partagas, also known as Font de Partegat, is a climb that rises to just above 1000 meters to a parking lot that serves as a starting point for walks in the Sierra Aitana. There are also water springs located there.
The climb, if started from the Guadalest reservoir (at the height of Beniardà), is 7.2 kilometers long and covers just over 600 meters of elevation. From the reservoir, via Beniardà, the CV-70, and the village of Benifato, the road surface is still in very good condition. However, after Benifato, the asphalt surface is clearly in worse condition. Steep sections of the road after passing Benifato are paved in concrete, and it should be noted that the transitions between asphalt and concrete leave much to be desired. Additionally, after Benifato, some sections should be navigated with caution due to loose stones. Since you will have to return the same way back to Benifato upon reaching the top, this means careful descent!
