The palace of Peter I, also known as the palace of King Don Pedro and the Mudejar palace, is part of the monumental complex of the Royal Alcázar of Seville.
It was built next to the Gothic palace of Alfonso X at the initiative of King Peter I, between 1356 and 1366, with the collaboration of artisans from Toledo, Granada, and Seville itself. It was later transformed during the time of the Catholic Monarchs and the early Habsburgs. According to archaeological research, the palace of King Peter constituted a new construction project, which was raised in a place where previous buildings existed.
