The dolmen of Son Bauló de Dalt is a dolmenic site located in the industrial estate of Son Bauló, near Can Picafort. It was discovered by an amateur, who published an initial reference in the Bulletin de la Société Préhistorique Française in the mid-20th century, but it wasn't until the 1960s that a team of island archaeologists began the first scientific excavations, which were directed by Guillem Rosselló Bordoy and financed by the Museum of Mallorca.
