The urban area currently known as Manises Square in the city of Valencia is bounded by different buildings occupied by various public powers, especially since the Palau de la Generalitat was definitively completed in 1952. Furthermore, it is in this space where two of the most important urban streets converge, Calle Cavallers and Calle Serrans, which linked the Plaza de la Seu with the Torres de Serrans and the Torres de Quart, that is to say, the civic center with the north and west accesses of the city.
