The Polvorines hanging bridge is a suspended bridge over the Tagus River in the city of Toledo.
It connects the old Arms Factory of Toledo, where the University is now located, with a park where the powder magazines were located on the other side of the Tagus River, in an area of exceptional beauty with magnificent views of the city. In this place, at the beginning of the 20th century, there was also a hanging bridge with a lattice deck, which was destroyed by a flood of the Tagus. The current project has been drafted by the architecture and engineering studio Estudio AIA.
