Tablón Factory

The Tablón factory is a building in Palamós included in the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.

It is a rectangular-shaped factory, with two floors and a toasted cornice at the eaves. On the façade facing Presidente Macià street, part of the ground floor has been transformed and there is now a shop. On the second floor, separated by a cornice, there are 3 windows, a door with an iron railing, 3 more windows identical to the first ones, and two more under the cornice, all with semi-circular arches. As a finishing touch, there is a eave supported by brackets and the rooftop. The opposite façade, on Santa Bàrbara street, features a second floor divided by 4 pilasters into 4 sections. The two side sections have 2 semi-circular arch windows each, while the central sections are framed by an elliptical molding. The square-shaped cornice has 3 windows on each side, and at the top, there is the sign "R. TABLERO" made of blue glazed tiles. Each side is topped with a pediment, and above rises a smaller square section crowned by a glazed tile pyramid.
