The House of Spirituality of Caleruega is inhabited by Dominican friars. It dates from the twentieth century but its architectural style corresponds to the Romanesque. At each corner there are large turrets, based on the old towers of the village wall. In 1952, promoted by Father V. Carro, the construction of this convent began, which ended in 1957. It is built in stone. It also has not only the house of spirituality but also a museum adapted for the blind and a chapel with a Gothic crucifix and a baroque polychrome carving of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, born in Caleruega, and the Virgin Mary, dating from the sixteenth century.
