Lake Rius [1][2] is a lake of glacial origin located at 2310 meters of altitude, in the municipality of Alto Arán in the region of Valle de Arán.
Near the lake of Rius is the lake Tort de Rius, its waters feed the river or arriu de Valarties that joins the Garonne river in the town of Arties, the lake of Rius has an area of 13 ha.[3]
