The Patalín Square, also known as the market square, is a square in La Seu d'Urgell located between Major Street and Els Canonges Street in the old town. In the past, it was called Republic Square and later Spain Square until in 2012, the plenary session of the La Seu d'Urgell City Council unanimously voted in favor of changing its name to Patalín, which it was named after a bar that existed in the 19th century.
