Llerona was a stop on the R3 line of Rodalies Renfe de Cercanías Barcelona located in the urban core of Llerona, belonging to the municipality of Las Franquesas del Vallés, and very near the N-152. It was inaugurated on July 30, 1944, and since 1993 no train has stopped at the stop. Therefore, it is one of the ghost stations of Catalonia.
It consists of the main track with a platform on the left, where there is a permanent structure serving as a shelter. Its facilities are in a state of complete abandonment, despite being located near several inhabited areas. Nevertheless, the station sign, following the usual typography of the stations on the line that were from the Norte company, remains on display.
