The Castle of Moncada was a medieval castle located on top of the hill of Moncada and Reixach. Philip V of Spain ordered its demolition, but it was not definitive until 1917, when it still had a solid round tower, which was demolished along with the sanctuary of Santa María de Montcada.[1][2]
