Buiza is a municipality located in the province of León, Castile and León, Spain.
One of the primitive routes of the Camino de Santiago passes through this town, which has been forgotten today, and from Boñar it deviated north towards Ranedo de Curueño, to reach Correcillas and Villalfeide, to Vegacervera, Coladilla, Valle and Villar, going down the Faedo to Ciñera and La Vid, and once crossing the town of Buiza it continued to Beberino and La Pola de Gordón, to join again in Otero de las Dueñas, towards Ponferrada.
