The Coria gate is a monumental gate located in the wall of the Spanish city of Plasencia, in the province of Cáceres. It gets its name from being located at the exit of the fortification that faced the city of Coria. It is situated on the western side of the wall, connected to the Plaza Mayor by Coria and Rúa Zapatería streets. Although it has medieval origins like the rest of the wall, its current Renaissance appearance dates back to renovation works that took place at the end of the 16th century, when the access arch was widened.
