The baroque altarpiece of the Miracle, created by the sculptor Carles Morató, is the main altarpiece of the church of the Sanctuary of the Miracle in Riner, in the Solsonès region. It is the most important work of its author and one of the most notable baroque altarpieces in Catalonia, very representative of the final phase of the evolution of baroque altarpiece art: instead of the Solomonic column, a type of composite column is used, the decorative repertoire incorporates the use of shells and rockwork, so characteristic of 18th-century art, and its structure becomes an architectural composition where the prominence of imagery and narrative scenes is diluted.
