The embellishments of the Palacio de los Enríquez de Ribera included the construction of two loggias for the exhibition of sculptures from Naples. These loggias were incorporated into a garden designed on two levels connected by stairs and separated by a central walkway leading to a pretty fountain with rock gardens, the set of which was originally one of the clearest examples of the elegant gardening typical of the Renaissance.
The upper garden, rectangular in shape, is adjacent to one of the Tortelo loggias , with a simple plant decoration consisting of rose bushes and citrus trees and subdivided into quadrangular planes surrounded by trimmed evomino hedges vaguely reminiscent of Arab gardening techniques.
The garden occupying the lower plane of the complex, for its part, consists of four rooms in whose transept is a fountain with a gazebo whose decorative pebbled paving is arranged in the form of drawings.
