Description

There are many cave dwellings in the municipality of Iznájar.

Many of these troglodyte structures have an antiquity dating back to the Neolithic Age.
The interiors of these unique residences were divided into several rooms carved into the rock , the number of which increased in parallel with the growth of the family living in them.

The main advantage of this type of construction lies in the temperature, as it remains a constant around 18º C all year round, so that the residents can enjoy a warm environment in winter and a cool environment in summer.
