The building known as Casino en Circulo d'Artistes is located on the north side of Plaça del Socors de Ronda.

It is a charming corner of the city where tourists enjoy their lunch without knowing that they are in the company of one of the most famous historical sites in Andalusia.

In 1918 Blas Infante, known as the Father of Andalusia, celebrated the first Andalusian Assembly in this building. The brilliant new regional flag was also unveiled on the occasion, adding to its importance. As you enter the courtyard on the ground floor (ask the concierge) you will see a plaque on the wall dedicated to this historic first meeting.

The Casino building is currently used for cultural events and houses one of the four collections of the Library of Ronda . Flamenco shows are regularly organized in the courtyard in the evenings.
