In the 18th century, the Confraternity of Nuestra Señora de la Paz, the patron saint of the monastery, was at its peak, and this is reflected in several works in the church, such as the construction of the chapel to the Virgin in the main chapel , which is now covers the main altarpiece, which was transferred from the old convent of Santa Clara in the middle of the 19th century.
The church has three naves, the central one being wider, higher and longer than the side naves, and is roofed by a wooden coffered ceiling . On the side of the epistle is a small and modest chapel , roofed by a dome on pendentives, which houses the titular statues of the Brotherhood of the Passion : the aforementioned Jesús de Pasión and María Santísima del Amor, both anonymous carvings from the 17th century, as well as a John the Evangelist.
