The facade of the old Hospital of San Sebastián , designed by the architect Hernán Ruiz I, El Viejo, around 1516, has regained the splendor of its original appearance, after completion of the necessary restoration works carried out on the building due to its decay due to the passage of five centuries.
The building became the property of the Diputación de Córdoba in 1850, but continued to function as a foundling hospital and maternity hospital until 1961, when the building was closed for more than two decades.
The entrance to the interior of the current tourist office and former hospital is made up of a flamboyant Gothic style door very rich in Plateresque decorations based on vegetal and zoomorphic motifs and with the sculptural representation of Saint Peter, St. Sebastian and Saint Paul.
