This bust of the bullfighter Manolete by Juan de Ávalos, sculpted in bronze, is a replica of the original in marble.
La Lagunilla is closely linked to the memory of Manolete, who lived in a modest house, number 45, which was demolished years ago.
From there, the young bullfighter went out many times, dressed in a bullfighter's costume, to perform in Los Tejares , and also returned several times, carried on the shoulders of the cheering crowd .
On the sad afternoon of August 30, 1947 , the bullfighter's coffin returned to La Lagunilla, where the girls of the neighborhood dedicated an emotional wreath to him in strict mourning.
