The Church of San Agustin was built in 1328 and there is evidence of the construction of the main chapel in 1335. The current appearance of the church dates from the first third of the 17th century.
The pillars in the choir and transept are codified; the capitals, which are not very elaborate, are decorated with leaves and birds.
The tower with two bell towers was built in the 16th century. The church fell into great disrepair in the 19th century, during the French invasion, and has since been restored several times, but never in depth to the current situation, which has lost a large part of the wall paintings , which were later restored, as well as numerous works of art that had to be transferred to other churches in the city.
Currently and for centuries it houses Nuestra de las Angustias Coronada, whose brotherhood holds its procession every year on Maundy Thursday.
