Isla Mágica is a theme park that opened in 1997

It was created by using the facilities of the 1992 World's Fair. The park has six themed areas and a water area called Agua Mágica . When it opened, it was the world's first urban theme park , as these are normally located outside urban centers.

The Agua Magica site, opened in 2014, includes an artificial beach, wave pool, water slides, family and children's pools , kiddie slides and lazy river. In 2017, a swimming pool with zip lines for diving, a children's playground and a relaxation area were added.
