The Museo del Baile Flamenco (MBF) in the center of Seville is a museum dedicated to the typical Andalusian dance flamenco that was founded in 2006 by the famous flamenco dancer and choreographer Cristina Hoyos.
It is the first and so far only museum in the world dedicated to this art.
The museum is housed in an 18th century Sevillian palace in the old Santa Cruz district near Seville Cathedral. In this interactive flamenco museum , visitors will receive information about the history and art of flamenco via screens spread over four themed floors .
On the ground floor there is a typical Andalusian patio in Ecijano style , one of the few remaining in Seville. Flamenco shows are offered there, and other styles and variants that have a certain link with Flamenco dancing.
