Descrizione dall'autore

The route goes clockwise and first goes along secondary roads through orange and olive groves (note: on Saturdays a market is held at the beginning of this inland road, then it is better to follow the main road to Alcalalí and then Parcent). Then soon you will be in Parcent and climb the Coll de Rates. Then you pedal to Tarbena and then start the descent to Callosa d'en Saria. You descend to the Guadalest River and then climb towards the nest of the Guadalest eagle. But you do not reach Guadalest itself, you take the exit to the Guadalest reservoir and then pedal along a good narrow asphalt road around the Guadalest reservoir. The narrow path halfway around the reservoir is beautiful for cycling. After passing the reservoir you have to climb steeply to the village of Beniardá (just before the village you have a beautiful viewpoint over the reservoir). After having reached the CV-70 main road (the Alcoy - Benidorm road, which despite its good extension, is not overcrowded), it is another 11 km of ascent, to the top of Puerto de Confrides. It descends to Benassau.

On the descent from the Port of Confrides, turn right just before Benassau on an inland road to Quatretondeta and then to Facheca. The stretch between Benasau and Facheca is on very quiet roads, which are strongly undulating (many short ups and downs in it that exceed 10%).

From Facheca you go down for a long time to the Castell de Castells. After passing through this village you take a side road to the left on a concrete road that crosses a river (usually this river is dry, only after extreme rains no). You climb the beautiful south side of Coll de la Garga. The descent is steep for the first two kilometers (over a narrow road, with sometimes confusing sections and the possibility of stones along the way). From the village of Benimaurell you follow the quiet main road and it is wonderful to descend.

Then you pedal to Orba, and between Orba and Alcalalí you get another climb by the wheels, then you descend to Jalón.
