Departure from Alcudia. It is a nice approach along the bay of Pollença, quiet roads, and small villages like Campanet and Moscari heading towards Caimari. We take the 'Camí Vell de Pollença' or 'Maffay Valley'. Cycling through this valley is simply lovely from both sides, with mountains on one side and flat vineyards on the other side.

Along the way, we have a couple of warm-up climbs (after St Miguel de Campanet) (km23) where we ascend about 60 meters and a few kilometers further we have another small climb of about 80 meters. From Caimari, the climb to 'Coll de sa Batalla' begins. It is an 8.1km climb where we gain 397 meters in elevation. The summit is at 576m - the average gradient is 4.9%. It is a pleasantly consistent climb, with several hairpin turns at the beginning and end (a total of 17). The asphalt is in good condition. At the top, there is a gas station where you can also eat and drink.

After that, we go down a bit to Lluc. Now we are on a rollercoaster - first 'Crue De Manut' (over 1.5km we climb 64m) then descend to Pixarells before reaching the top of 'Coll de Femenia' at 540m. From here, we descend about 8.5km towards Pollença. There are about 5 hairpin turns. Then we head back towards Port Alcudia to the starting point.

Originally PM06_Lluc. A section of unpaved road around the Pollença golf course was then included in the route. In this revised version, this unpaved section is avoided.
