After a flat approach along the coast, you pass the picturesque Altea and the cozy L’Alfàs del Pi. From here, it gently ascends towards Finestrat, where the first serious climb awaits you: the Alto de Finestrat. This climb slowly takes you away from the coastline and introduces you to the rugged interior.

From the idyllic mountain village of Sella, you begin the long and beautiful Puerto de Tudons, a climb that takes you through an ever-changing landscape, from olive trees to pine forests. After that, you wind your way through Benimantell and Alcoleja towards Benasau, where the Port de Confrides awaits – a quiet, steady climb with impressive views of the Aitana mountain range.

The descent brings you through Benifato and the historic El Castell de Guadalest, where a short stop is definitely worth it. Enjoy the view over the reservoir and the castle before descending back towards the coast via Altea la Vella and returning to Calpe, satisfied and filled with memories.
