Challenging stage of 67.65 km between Puerto de La Ragua and Juviles, with an elevation gain of 1,260 m. Technical and demanding route through mountain trails, ideal for experienced cyclists. Unpaved terrain predominates in a natural and rural setting, with little vehicle traffic. It combines long climbs and fast descents amid high mountain landscapes and ravines.

Marked route according to the official IMBA Spain standard: the main marker is the MTB directional arrow (a triangle with two circles below) indicating the direction of travel. The indicator for this route is a red diamond with the number 5V (difficult).
