The way follows the journey made by Pablo Picasso in the spring of 1906 from Guardiola to Bellver de Cerdanya. Covering a significant part of the Upper Berguedà, now included in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, it was taken by Picasso and his companion, Fernande Olivier, accompanied by just one mule driver and a mule. It passes through a varied landscape, from fields and farms to the rocky slopes of the Cadí Range and down to the verdant pastures of Cerdanya.
