The Silver Route is a major communication road built by the Romans, connecting the Cantabrian Coast and the southern lands of Hispania.
This road has continued to be used over the centuries, by both Arabs and Christians in the Middle Ages, and later plays an important role in the communication network of the Iberian Peninsula.
