Lloret de Mar - Sant Hilari - Lloret de Mar. Road cycling Catalonia

CB (Costa Brava): Route 8

A chance to ride one of the classic massive cols of Girona, starting and finishing in Lloret de Mar. Climb up from the coast to leave Lloret, and enjoy 20km of undulating warm-up before the climb begins at Santa Coloma de Farners. It is a long 21km climb, but consistently mellow gradients mean it is pleasant. The highlight of this ride is the almost 35km descent from Sant Hilari de Sacalm to Anglès, winding and looping, with great views. The final test is the climb to Sant Marti Sapresa, the descent of which brings you back to Santa Coloma, to return to Lloret the way you left.
