The Pin-Bouchain pass is a mountain pass located between the French departments of Rhône and Loire. It is the highest point of the RN 7 at an altitude of 759 m. The pass is located 10 kilometers northwest of Tarare, in the hamlet of La Chapelle, and 30 kilometers southeast of Roanne. It is situated on the watershed line between the Atlantic and Mediterranean. It is crossed by the GR 7.
