Col de La Colombière

Description

The Col de la Colombière, culminating at 1,613 meters, connects the valleys of Grand-Bornand and Reposoir, located between the Bornes massif to the north-northwest, and the chain of Aravis to the south-southeast. With the Col des Aravis, it is a crossing point through the chain of the same name, but it is of secondary importance: the cluse of the Arve Valley, linking Bonneville to Sallanches, offers a pathway Easier than borrows besides the highway Blanche.
