The "Room of the Ball Game of Versailles" was the one that led to the National Assembly. It had to be held in this place because King Louis XVI had closed the rooms where the previous assembly had taken place, simply because it had created much discussion. Those who already knew about this information were the representatives of the Nobility and the Clergy, but those representing the Third Estate did not know, because when they arrived at the Palace of Versailles, they found the doors closed. However, when they went to Versailles, there were not only representatives of the Third Estate; there were also representatives from the other two estates, the nobility and the clergy.
