We only follow the D13 for a few hundred meters then turn left. The road climbs up to Lake Paty. It is an old reservoir from 1764. The water was meant for the agriculture of the region. Nowadays, there is also a lot of fishing and hiking.
The area here is very rugged at first. Further along the road, there are a few small farms. We follow the road to the end.
