The wooded Parc de Boulogne, a former royal estate, is a popular destination west of Paris. With its 850 hectares including the Parc de Bagatelle, the Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil, the Pré-Catelan and the Jardin d'Acclimatation, it offers a wide range of activities: 28 km of paths, bridle paths, 15 km of cycle routes, playgrounds, Musée en Herbe, picnic areas, bike and boat hire, horse racing, restaurants and open-air theater.
