The church Notre-Dame la Grande is a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture due to its harmonious proportions and perfect play of lines. Above the main portal and the arcades on either side are bas-reliefs depicting, among other things, the birth of Christ, the infant Jesus in a bath, and Joseph in prayer. The arches showcase particularly beautiful sculptures, with plants and mythical creatures. The nave has a barrel vault and two side aisles. The statue behind the main altar dates from the sixteenth century and represents Notre Dame des Clefs: Our Lady of the Keys, commemorating the fact that in 1202 it was just possible to prevent a traitor from handing over the keys of the city to the English.
