Valiergues is a French commune located in the Corrèze department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The climate characterizing the commune is classified, in 2010, as a "mountain climate," according to the typology of climates in France, which then includes eight main types of climates in the metropolitan area. In 2020, the commune appears under the same type of climate in the classification established by Météo-France, which now only counts, at first glance, five main types of climates in the metropolitan area. For this type of climate, the temperature drops rapidly with altitude. There is minimal cloudiness in winter and maximum cloudiness in summer. Winds and precipitation vary significantly depending on the location.
