Saint-Bonnet-près-Bort is a French commune located in the Corrèze department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The climate that characterizes the commune is classified, in 2010, as a "mountain climate," according to the typology of climates in France, which then included eight major types of climates in the mainland. In 2020, the commune is still classified under the same type of climate in the classification established by Météo-France, which now only accounts for five major types of climates in the mainland in the first approach. For this type of climate, the temperature decreases rapidly with altitude. There is minimal cloudiness observed in winter and maximum cloudiness in summer. Winds and precipitation vary significantly depending on the location.
