Clergoux is a French commune located in the department of Corrèze in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Its inhabitants are called Clergousiens. Clergoux is situated 18 km east of Tulle, 33 km north of Argentat-sur-Dordogne, and 18 km southwest of Égletons, on a plateau of medium altitude, between 500 and 600 m. Numerous lakes and ponds dot the surrounding area. The stream of l'Homme Mort, a main branch of the Saint-Bonnette, springs from the communal territory.
