Forgès

Forgès is a French commune located in the department of Corrèze and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The climate that characterizes the commune is classified, in 2010, as a "modified oceanic climate," according to the typology of climates in France, which then included eight major types of climates in mainland France. In 2020, the commune remains of the same climate type in the classification established by Météo-France, which now counts only five major types of climates in mainland France. It is a transition zone between the oceanic climate, mountain climate, and semi-continental climate. The temperature differences between winter and summer increase with the distance from the sea. Precipitation is lower than on the coast, except near the reliefs.
