Murlin is a French municipality with 69 inhabitants in the Nièvre department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire and the Canton of La Charité-sur-Loire. Murlin is located about 22 kilometers north-northeast of Nevers. The municipality is traversed by the Mazou River. Neighboring municipalities of Murlin are Chasnay to the north, La Celle-sur-Nièvre to the north and northeast, Beaumont-la-Ferrière to the east, Saint-Aubin-les-Forges to the south, Raveau to the south and west, and Narcy to the northwest.
