Lay-Saint-Christophe is a French commune located in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region.
Situated in the hills north of Nancy, the village is built on a south-facing slope with a river, the Amezule, a minor tributary of the Meurthe, below. The village consists of two adjoining parts: Haute-Lay on the hillside and Basse-Lay below.
