The municipality was part of the district of Ribeauvillé until it was abolished in 2014 and the municipalities were incorporated into the district of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines. In 2015, the arrondissement of Ribeauvillé was also abolished and the municipality was incorporated into the new arrondissement of Colmar-Ribeauvillé.
