Located between Burgundy and Berry, Pouilly-sur-Loire enjoys a privileged geographical situation, two hours from Paris.
Halfway between the source of the Loire and its mouth, Pouilly is in the heart of a thousand-year-old vineyard that has made its reputation. Overlooking the river, the vineyard benefits from a micro-climate and a terroir conducive to the optimal expression of Sauvignon. This ideal situation gives Pouilly Fumé a remarkable typicity that has earned it international renown.
Pouilly-sur-Loire is located in the heart of the Loire Valley Nature Reserve. The last wild river in Europe is called for this part of its course: "the Loire of islands" in reference to its braided bed and the variety of its landscapes
Don't hesitate to take the time to visit the Pouilly Fumé Tower, the Pavillon du Milieu de Loire, to follow the circuit of the town centre or to walk through the vineyards.
