Bazens is a French commune with 538 inhabitants in the Lot-et-Garonne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The commune belongs to the Agen district and the Le Confluent canton. Bazens is located about 17 kilometers west-northwest of Agen on the Garonne. The river Masse de Prayssas also flows into it here. Bazens is surrounded by the neighboring communes of Galapian to the north and northwest, Saint-Salvy to the north and northeast, Frégimont to the east and northeast, Clermont-Dessous to the south and east, Saint-Laurent to the south and southwest, and Port-Sainte-Marie to the west.
