Soultz-sous-Forêts is a French commune located in the administrative district of Bas-Rhin and, since January 1, 2021, in the territory of the European Collectivity of Alsace, in the Grand Est region.
The commune is part of the Northern Vosges Regional Natural Park and the transboundary biosphere reserve of the Northern Vosges-Pfälzerwald. It is known for having been the cradle throughout the 19th century of the breeding of a domestic pigeon breed, valued for its meat, the huppé de Soultz, which is now widespread in other regions.
