Wingen is a French commune in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region. It is located in the Haguenau-Wissembourg arrondisement and in the Reichshoffen canton.
The village is surrounded by forest, which covers over three-quarters of the municipal area. It used to belong, like the neighboring village of Climbach, to the Hohenburg estate. Just north lies the district of Kleinwingen. The area around Wingen is part of the Northern Vosges Regional Park, which, together with the adjacent Palatinate Forest, forms a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
