Sanchey is a French commune in the Vosges department in the Grand Est region. It belongs to the Épinal arrondissement and the intercommunal structure Agglomération d’Épinal.
The commune area of Sanchey, which is five and a half square kilometers, includes a valley section of the Moselle tributary Avière, including the eastern part of the Bouzey reservoir. In the southwest, the terrain rises, reaching 461 meters above sea level at the border to the commune of Renauvoid. The Canal des Vosges runs through the area of the commune at about 350 meters sea level. The southeast portion of the communal land is part of the Forêt de Ban d’Uxegney forest area. Agricultural land is limited to just under 100 hectares.
